The nation-wide auction will start at 3pm EST on 17 September 2009, and will end at 3pm on 23 September 2009, According to GraysOnline, the online auctioning of forklifts is a growing alternative sales channel for major Australian suppliers.
The online auctioneer has been selling forklifts online since 2003, with a track record of over a thousand forklifts sold, GraysOnline also says the unreserved nature of the auctions means buyers may save up to 30 to 50% compared to buying the same used forklift from a traditional retailer.
Buyers can inspect and test the forklifts at inspection sites in Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia, Queensland and New South Wales during the sale period. The majority of products will be Nissan, but there will be other brands, including Toyota, Crown, Hyster, Linde, Komatsu, and Clark.
Products on auction include 1.5 to 12t IC Units, double deep reach trucks, turret trucks, electric pallet movers, wheel battery electric units, order pickers, stock pickers, walkie reach stacker, ride on battery electric forklifts, plus forklift attachments, compressors, hand pallet trucks and other assorted items.
